Environmental Impact Assessment for Orange Island Infrastructure Development Phase
This involves implementation of ESIA for Bulk infrastructure development on 75 Ha out of 150 Ha reclaimed land on Lagos Lagoon. It involved field studies and data analyses for two hydrological seasons, stakeholders’ engagement, liaison with federal, state and local government regulators to comprehensively characterise the project environment, and make well-informed project impacts analyses.
Impacts analyses involved various simulation models considering the sensitivity of the environment, and the various infrastructure components including: storm water drainage systems, roads, greenery, waste management, shore protection, bulk facilities like; potable water, power supply facilities, recreational facilities, jetty, etc. The project was completed in 2020
