Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) for Mile-12 to Ikorodu Town BRT Route Development for LAMATA

This RAP involved enumeration and identification of all potential persons and assets that would be affected by the proposed 13.5km BRT Route Extension from Mile-12 Area of Lagos State, to Ikorodu Town, Lagos State. The RAP involved quantification of the extent (and cost) of losses, surveying of the socioeconomic characteristics of people and communities along the corridor, consultation with every stakeholder and preparation of report. Over 2000 persons including 2 major markets were identified to suffer different forms of dislocation costs. 

This project was implemented for LAMATA by Triple 'E' Systems Associates Limited but had some present key members of EcoPro specifically, Prof. Omololu Soyombo (Lead, Socio-economics), Mr. Bartholomew Ndulue (Project Manager), Mr. Obehi Eguakhide (Field Supervisor), and Mr. Fidelis Ndulue (Field Enumerator) play lead roles in delivering the RAP; from field survey, stakeholders’ engagement, data analyses as well as RAP Report preparation. The project lasted between 2010 and 2011
