Environmental Impact Assessment for Periwinkle Lifestyle Estate Infrastructure Development

This EIA activities covered; field studies of biophysical and social characteristics of the project environment, evaluation of the potential impacts of the various proposed infrastructure, recommendation of more sustainable alternatives to the initial designs based on the impacts’ risks, and preparation of environmental management plan for the project implementation. 

The proposed Periwinkle Lifestyle Estate is conceived to be a model mixed-use real estate with modern facilities at Lagos lagoon front. The project occupies approximately 39.2ha of reclaimed land. The promoters intend to provide bulk infrastructure including: internal road network, stormwater drainage system, water and sewage treatment facilities, potable water facilities, and power supply facilities.
